For those that know me, know I am a bit of a clean

For those that know me, know I am a bit of a clean freak. I function better when things are organised, clean and in their place. So certain things about my new gym (that I found odd to start with) I 🩷:
.
👟 you take off your ‘outside’ shoes when you enter and change into gym shoes so you don’t bring in dirt and germs from outside. This is done in peoples homes too and I am here for it 🙌🏻
✅ attachments and kit are organised close by to the equipment they are needed for
🏋️‍♀️ there are numerous areas for different weights and people actually put them back!
🦠 there are containers around the gym in pairs that contain clean cloths for wiping down equipment after use and then dirty ones to put the used cloths in

I know a lot of gyms elsewhere have similar but I’ve never seen it followed so well by the gym users!

Back in the gym and it is humbling going to weight

Back in the gym and it is humbling going to weights knowing what you used to lift compared to what is realistic now - a literal slap in the face with a dumbbell.

Combination of lack of fitness, perimenopause and gym having been completely absent/ignored if I am being completely honest.

I am enjoying it (she says after one week back) so I will take that slap in the face and raise you a stiff middle finger 🖕🏻🤣

I have an April sized hole in my heart and the only one who can fix it is her 💔

On the positive side:
💪🏻 I am back in the gym
🧶 I have finished knitting some gloves
🪡 I sewed an embroidery picture
🌿 I made a Christmas wreath
🌸 I made two decorative wreathes for indoors
🍷 I made sloe gin and rhubarb gin
